Meet The Team

  • Rian Allen

I am an accredited dog training instructor through the IMDT. I have a BSc Hons degree in Canine Clinical Behaviour graduated at Chester University and I have just signed up for a 3 year course to gain my behaviour accreditation too. I live to learn about everything and anything dog related! Keeping current is incredibly important to me to ensure I am doing the best I can for our dogs.

It all started for me, being 10years old, suffering acute generalised anxiety, leading to me taking 2 years out of school. My parents at a loss asked how they could help me… of course, I asked for a dog!
Poppy was born, my first Golden Retriever Girl and the rest is history. Poppy saved me in more ways than one, and I will forever be grateful to my parents for gifting me a true Best Friend and life long soul mate, now in spirit, but still ever so present.

  • Betty Bear

My Golden Retriever, Standard Poodle cross. Born in 2013. This sweet girl has had her fair share of troubles. It was Betty that opened my eyes to the effects that pain/discomfort has on behaviour. Betty was diagnosed age 6 with hip dysplasia which was only investigated after showing behavioural symptoms such as: Lunging and barking at people on walks, sound sensitivity in the house, subtle sensitivity to being handled to name a few.
It took along time to help Betty through her physical pain, and behavioural struggles - but it was so worth the tears, sleepless nights and ninja style dog walks. I now have my girl back living her best life. The secret to our success is finding a team of professionals to support Betty’s. We have gathered an incredible team supporting us, consisting of: Groomer, Physio, Hydro, Vets and specialist vets. All of whom we would have hugely struggled without. The above along side a carefully structured Behaviour modification plan has given Betty back the life she deserves - one to enjoy.

  • Lennox Lion

My Golden Retriever Puppy. Born in 2023. The first male dog I have owned. This handsome boy has been a life long dream in the making. Its only until this year that I have had everything needed to effectively care for another large breed. This wonderful little boy hasn’t disappointed and has been well worth the long wait. I look forward to continuing to share our training journey with you on our social media.
